Songbirds Seen in Switzerland - Singvögel der Schweiz

I add to this page as I go along. Given the number of pictures you can see here, they are now organized as per the Latin name of the relevant family (in alphabetical order). And who knows? Maybe one day this will become a more or less complete library of the Swiss Passeri. The term Passeriformes is broader than Passeri, songbirds, as it encompasses also suborders other than Passeri. However, in Switzerland (and I believe in the whole of Europe) all birds we have of the order Passeriformes are Passeri. There are no other suborders present. Last revised: July 2022
